Stewardship Matters
I was called into ministry in 2007. Since then, I’ve served in numerous churches in numerous roles, including Lead Pastor. One recurring theme I’ve encountered is: Stewardship Matters.
I’ve lead churches through major financial difficulties, including massive IRS-payroll tax deficiencies, no financial reporting and accountability, regaining and rebuilding trust and transparency, and much more. I’ve helped churches put into place solid internal controls, financial accounting and reporting workflows, and ensured compliance with IRS and State requirements.
I’ve experienced first-hand the tax burden that Clergy members face as a result of not implementing payroll best practices, tax strategy, and tax planning. I’ve helped pastors across the country and in numerous denominations save thousands in taxes, better plan for their taxes, and find clarity and peace of mind knowing that their Clergy tax needs were properly managed.
What I’ve learned through all of this is that Stewardship Matters. You can be the most well-intended Pastor or the most Mission-Driven Church, but if you’re not actively stewarding your financial matters, you will experience financial difficulty and bear unneccessary burdens.
equipped to serve
When I was called into ministry, I knew I needed to be equipped to serve the Church. As my experience in ministry progressed, so too did my awareness of the numerous financial and compliance needs of the Church.
I saw that Pastors, Treasurers, Financial Directors, and other Leaders need accurate, timely information to make important ministry decisions and fulfill their Mission. I saw that congregants need to have absolute confidence in the financial leadership of their Church. I saw that Pastors deserve a partner who truly understands the complexities of their unique tax situation.
I’ve taken the need to be equipped to serve seriously, and I am ready to serve you, your Church, and your Mission.
